Green Scarf Day 2008

On August 20th 2008, men and women are asked to wear something green to show support for this cause. Come in to a participating university (see the volunteer page), buy a green ribbon and let people know that you’re doing your bit to tackle poverty!

Green Scarf Day Shirts are now available for ordering. The last day to order a shirt is Sunday 10th August. T-shirts cost only $10 which is less than the price of one lunch! What is Green Scarf Day?

Green Scarf Day is an independent non-political, non-sectarian fundraising venture, set up in an effort to raise funds for helping disadvantaged women and children around the world. Living in abject poverty and with barely enough to survive due to lack of income, these women and children are miserable and helpless. Find out more!
