Donations
The success of our projects rely heavily on donations. Your generosity and caring will make a world of difference to the lives of those who have lost all hope. There are 3 ways of donating:
1. Paypal. This is a secure transaction and is facilitated by PayPal - you may donate using your PayPal account or a valid credit card.
2. Deposit money into our account

3. Donate money at any one our participating universities into one of the Green Scarf Day money boxes located in the Islamic prayer rooms.
Where does your donation go?
The Green Scarf Day Project has its own charitable account with Commonwealth Bank where all funds, donations and sponsorship money is collected. The account has four signatories which assures that account keeping is done with the utmost integrity, honesty and security.
All funds raised are given directly to our chosen charity - Human Appeal International who then distribute the funds toward the projects that the GSD committee has nominated. As GSD is run entirely by committed volunteers, administration costs are cut heavily and all expenses associated with the project are covered by our sponsors.
How are the funds distributed?
The fund distribution will be slightly different in 2008. In 2007, all donations were given over to the one project we were working on - The Palestine project. This year, with an additional project in Sudan being added to our fundraising profile, the raised funds will be more evenly distributed between the two.
If you would like to make a donation to a specific project however, you may let us know and we will do our best to organise that for you.
